I have treatment supporters working in my district. Why are my cure rates not improving? |

A community programme cannot be seen as a cure for ailing TB control. If the clinic-based TB programme is not running efficiently, if the treatment supporters aren't consistently trained, if there is not good communication between the clinic and the treatment supporters, if the treatment supporters are not well managed, or if accurate records are not kept, it is likely that you won't see the benefit of your community-based TB treatment.
